Contents
Pre-Fall
Details of Egan Simms before the fall are patchy at this point, but FOAD is known to have been involved in a number of military skirmishes through-out the inner system, many of them classified and now lost. FOAD was an elite unit trained for guirilla tactics and orbital insertions behind enemy lines. They were equipped with cutting edge military technology and training.
Egan Simms operations in Asia during the fall including seeing the fall of the pacific floating space elevator, as talked about in Wake Up Call.
Morph
Rabbit clearly has some high end military tech in his morph. Among the observed features are an incredibly rapid healing setup beyond normal medichines, although they do leave scars, enhanced strength, and incredible resistance to shock attacks.
He has a tattoo on one arm that has an image of a flaming skull on orbital reentry with "IV" engraved in it's forehead: for Fourth Orbital Assault Dragoons insignia.
It was discovered in Omega and Prime that the activation data pulse was lethal if installed into a morph not already infected with some variant of PSI. It can be hypothesized that Rabbit had some amount of PSI capabilities even before he was activated.
TITAN Sleeper
It was revealed in Storm Front that Rabbit is a sleeper agent left behind by the TITANS. Specifically he is multiple sleeper agents scatter throughout the solar system, although the team had only me one copy before they were activated. The N-cast number station signal emitted in Strange Times activated the various copies, turning them into killers.
These activated copies also possess a disturbing ability to replicate by regurgitating nanite and nanobot laced fluids into the wounds of a dead or dying person, turning them into yet another detailed copy of Egan Simms.
Known Copies
Firewall has idicated that they are tracking more than a dozen seperate outbreaks connected with Rabbit clones. The players have not been given full details on any outbreaks they haven't seen themselves, but they have heard a bit of details:
- Lunar: This Rabbit was met by the team during the events of Sight Lines, where they helped save his life from a sniper. The post-Fall history of this version of Rabbit included being present when New Mumbai station suffered a TITAN Infestation. He managed to get a few survivors out before the habitat was bombed from space, and it was durring that endeavor that he met then prostitute Lozana Cordoba, who would later become his girlfriend. When the players met him in at LA Muse he was working a scavenger in near-earth orbit, and had made a large score. The players helped him and Lozana make their way to Venus after tricking the sniper that was out to shoot him. The players do not know his fate after the activation signal.
- Martian: The next copy encountered by the Firewall team was in the Martian highlands. He had been a local deputy in the independant terraforming town of Rassani. When the signal went live, he went on a killing spree. By the time the PC arrived, the town was almost entirely dead or converted to Rabbit clones. The players used a suitcase nuke to destroy the town in order to prevent the clones from spreading across mars.
- Mercury: Other Firewall teams are said to be dealing with an outbreak in an independently operated mine on mercury.
- Venus: There are reports of an outbreak on a Venus aerostat's hospital.
- Jupiter: Firewall has heard rumors of an outbreak in Jovian space, but details are hard to come by.
- Saturn: Firewall has reported an outbreak somewhere in Saturn's orbital area, although details were not provided to the PCs.
- Brinker: Firewall has also mentioned an outbreak on a Brinker station "out past Saturn."
