Active Game: Tales of Adventure and Mystery

A planned Fate game taking place in a pulp-action Indiana Jones/The Mummy inspired version of the mid 1920s.

Games To Run

Scions of the Apocalypse

A hypothetical Fate game where "demons" have mostly devoured the modern world and the players are one of the last communities of humans attempting to survive over multiple generations. Each Major Milestone in the game is the end of a generation, and players are Clans led by Scion in each generation.

Justified Means

A hypothetical Super Hero Villain game taking place over 13 "issues" in the Theta Earth setting. I have a plot line framework where the players go from breaking out of super-prison and eventually conquer the world. The game would likely be played with FAE.

Fate Shui

A (not completed) conversion of the Feng Shui Chi War setting into Fate based rules. I'd use the Feng Sui 2 version of the setting/story and aim for a mix of our old characters and new characters. Use Fate rules but lots of Feng Shui inspirations (but not it's initiative/shot system.)

Static Signal

A cyberpunk heist game. Essentially an attempt to take the parts of Shadowrun and Apocalypse World I really liked and build a game system that does those parts better. Using Fate rules geared towards the players having a stronger influence on missions.

Old Games

Never When City

A Fate game taking place in ruins of causality after time travel is invented. It's a Time-Opera with a sense of humor.

Hexagram Character

More at User:Brian/Malcorvin.

A older human male, with plenty of scars to show for his life. A merchant with a cart and an old lizard-mount to pull it. He's been everywhere, knows someone in every town, and is fairly affable.

He wasn't always such a nice guy. In his younger days he was a warmage of some infamy. He literally burned out, attempting a terrible ritual to tap a power nexus. It burned much of his powers away, but also much of the ambition that drove him. It left him scarred, but a better man.

Eclipse Phase Story Arcs

Tesseract

Plans Left Undone

  • ETI weapon / Tesseract / black hole arc based somewhat on Sunstorm & Firstborn
  • Something involving farcasting to a starwhisp exo-solar colonization (or exploration) craft.
  • Something going very wrong with a new kind of Petal hitting the streets of Mars.

Shadowrun

These are the Shadowrun character's I'm actually still interested in running:

  • Laughing Vulture the Cascade Ork T-Bird Pilot (SR5)
  • That Guy is a Master Hacker, Transhumanist, & Security Expert
  • "Doc" Matherson the off-duty DocWagon Wheelman
  • I should probably make a less "professional" runner type for use on wackier setups. Something more pink mow-hawk.

These are past characters that I'm not especially interested in running:

  • Delbert Lewis, Paranormal Exterminator, Ghostbuster knock-off
  • Zeke is a good old Gun loving Redneck. My first character and not well built.
  • Hash Saw is a crazy Hacker/Ganger. Kind of an extreme build.

Feng Shui

Feng Shui 2

World of Darkness

  • Professor Tork - A little old man that's lived an interesting life, and now fights monsters to prove they don't exist.

Special Investigations

  • Sergeant "Harry," and his Canine partner Mik

Special Investigations Nightshift (SINS)

A 1990s procedural update of the 1980s supernatural cop game. Run for two seasons by Brian in Ann Arbor Michigan using the Savage Worlds rule system.

Apocalypse World
