History

  • Originally encountered in Grave Dust, Sherman Oaks was at the time working with a group of ghost hunters responsible for torturing a man to death to attract ghosts. Many of the rest of the hunters were captured, but he escaped after a fight with police in which he was stabbed, beaten, and shot multiple times to seemingly little effect, and during which he made evident use of supernatural strength and his terrifying scream. He later watched from a distance as the Special Investigations Unit fought and arrested his compatriots, and picked out Isadora Decoudreau as his nemesis.
  • Encountered a few times throughout Season 2 (put some links here)
  • Finally destroyed in Catalysys with the help of Father O'Reilly, who managed to drain and free the ghosts still trapped within him (and much of their stored psychic energy). The loss of this energy caused Oaks' ancient body to finally die and although it did explode with the remains of the psychic energy trapped within, it was minor compared to what it could have been. Unfortunately, this massive release of energy acted as the final catalyst to activate He Who Drink's the Marrow's ritual.
